A new company built by experienced roofers

The StoneFist Story

StoneFist Roofing was created by contractors who spent years working under other banners—learning what works, watching what fails, and deciding there had to be a better way. We built StoneFist to bring together the best habits, the best methods, and the best on-site discipline into one team.

If you’re comparing quotes, we can help you understand what matters: system components, flashing details, ventilation approach, and how the work will be documented.

Roofing should feel certain, not like a gamble. Our process is designed to remove “unknowns.”

Who we are

Experienced trades, finally under one roof

StoneFist Roofing exists because we’ve seen both sides of the industry. We’ve worked jobs where the crew cared deeply, the details were clean, and the homeowner got a roof that stayed quiet for years. We’ve also seen the opposite: rushed tear-offs, shortcuts at flashing, thin protection at eaves, and “looks fine” finishing that later turns into stains, leaks, or shingles lifting in a Chinook wind.

After years in the field, the decision became obvious: build a company where quality is the standard, not the exception. Our team brings 25+ years of combined roofing experience into a single operation with one goal—deliver work we’d proudly put on our own homes.

What “quality” means at StoneFist

Quality isn’t a slogan. It’s the boring, repeatable habits that protect a roof long-term—especially in Calgary’s hail, wind, and freeze-thaw cycle. We focus on the failure points first: edges, penetrations, valleys, ventilation, and the “hidden layers” that most homeowners never see once the shingles go on.

Details over speed

We don’t treat flashing, boots, and valleys like small add-ons. These are the places roofs usually fail first, so we build them like they matter.

System thinking

A roof is a system: underlayment, ice & water protection, starters, ridges, ventilation, and shingles working together. We scope and install with the full system in mind.

Respect on-site

Clean work areas, controlled debris, careful magnet sweeps, and clear communication. Your property should look better when we leave—not worse.

How we earn trust as a new company

People naturally look for “years in business” when choosing a roofer, because they want to know someone will stand behind the work. That makes sense. Since StoneFist is a newer brand, we choose to earn confidence in a different way: by making our workmanship measurable and our promises verifiable.

  • Clear written scope: materials and methods spelled out so you can compare quotes fairly.
  • Photo checkpoints: key stages documented so you can see what was installed before it’s covered up.
  • Warranty structure: manufacturer coverage registered properly, plus a workmanship confidence plan described in plain language.
  • Verification before close-out: we align “job complete” with confirmed quality, not just “we’re done.”
Bottom line:
We built StoneFist so customers don’t have to rely on hope, memory, or vague promises. You get clarity, evidence, and a roof built to last.

What to expect when you call

When you contact us, we’ll ask a few practical questions (roof age, any leaks, recent storms, access constraints), then schedule an assessment. You’ll receive a straightforward summary of what we see, what’s urgent, what can wait, and what your options are—without pressure.

Step 1

Assessment: identify risk areas, storm impact, and any urgent leak concerns.

Step 2

Scope & options: a clear plan with must-haves vs upgrade choices explained.

Step 3

Schedule: clean timelines, material planning, and a documented close-out package.

Note: “25+ years combined experience” reflects combined trade experience across our team members. Warranty coverage and terms vary by manufacturer and product line and are governed by written warranty documents and contract terms.
